Patricia Antonelli has been practicing law for more than 30 years, focusing on commercial and consumer foreclosures and workouts, bankruptcy and receivership law and banking and consumer finance regulatory and compliance matters. Patricia is admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and her clients include credit unions, banks, financial institutions, mortgage lenders, mortgage servicers and secured and unsecured creditors.

Patricia is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Section, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Massachusetts Real Estate Law Bar Association and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. She is certified by the Rhode Island Supreme Court as a Receiver/Trustee for Superior Court receiverships.

Patricia was selected as a Super Lawyer from 2009 to 2024, and she was nominated for a Professional Excellence in Law award by RI Monthly for 2023. Patricia is a member of the Planning Board for the City of Newport, Rhode Island, the Newport Preservation Society, and she is a member of Newport Lodge #104 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.

A native of Massachusetts, Patricia did her undergraduate studies at Boston College, and she obtained her law degree from Suffolk University Law School. While at law school in Boston, she was accepted into the US Department of Justice Honors Program, and she interned at the Office of the United States Trustee in Boston which was the beginning of her career in insolvency and bankruptcy law.
